CHICAGO — January 28, 2010. Illinois Department of Insurance Director Michael T. McRaith is among a group of National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) serving as panelists during a national dialogue on health care fraud in Washington, D.C. today. The National Summit on Health Care Fraud is being sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Justice.
Participating NAIC members and scheduled panels include:
Featured speakers at the Summit include Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, former NAIC President and Kansas Insurance Commissioner Kathleen Sebelius,, and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Other participants in the Summit include prosecutors, investigators and insurance company executives. The day-long Summit will be held at the Natcher Conference Center at the National Institutes of Health.
