- The confirmation number provided when the reservation was made
- Correct fees
- Failing score report (if the candidate is retaking an examination)
- Proof of completion of pre-licensing from the provider
Candidates who do not present the required items on examination day will be denied admission to the examination, will be considered absent, and will be responsible for the examination fee.
Exam procedures
Candidates should report to the Pearson Vue Test Center thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled examination to complete registration. Each candidate will have three and one-half (31/2) hours to complete the examination, and will leave the assessment center with an official score report in hand.
Score reporting
Upon completion of the examination, candidates will receive a score report marked "pass" or "fail." Candidates who pass will receive a score report that includes information on how to apply for a license. Candidates who fail must wait 24 hours before rescheduling an examination.
Each examination is divided into two parts: the general section and the state section. Candidates who pass only one section of the examination and fail the other need retake only the failed section within 90 days. If both sections have not been passed after 90 days, it will be necessary to retake the entire examination.
Candidates must wait 24 hours before rescheduling a reexamination. Appointments for reexamination are not made at the Pearson Vue testing location, and must be scheduled in the same manner as an initial exam.
